During the latest Express Entry draw on September 2, 2020, Immigration Canada selected 4200 candidates by issuing an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold for this draw was 475 points.

Candidates selected were not from an indicated program. The programs in the Express Entry are the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program. The 4200 candidates probably were selected across these programs.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was from August 16, 2020, at 01:22:18 UTC. The tie-break procedure prioritizes those candidates whose profiles have been in the pool longer. If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Every draw has it own attributes. Express Entry is an online system that is used to manage applications for permanent residence programs. There are three main programs under the Express Entry — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.

Candidates are scored using eligibility criteria for which are awarded points. These criteria are also known as six selection factors, which are your age, education, skilled work experience, and proficiency in English or French, adaptability, and sometimes job offers.
