On August 6, the  Express Entry draw for immigration to Canada selected 250 candidates by issuing an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold for this draw was 415 points

In this draw, candidates in the Federal Skills Trade Program (FST) were invited.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was from  June 2, 2020 at 09:35:31 UTC. The tie-break procedure prioritizes those candidates whose profiles have been in the pool longer. If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Express Entry is an online process involving the federal government, provincial governments, and Canadian employers. It is an online system that is used to manage applications for permanent residence programs. There are three main programs under the Express Entry — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.

Candidates are scored using eligibility criteria for which are awarded points. These criteria are also known as six selection factors, which are your age, education, skilled work experience, and proficiency in English or French, adaptability, and sometimes job offers.
