From June 1, 2014, an International student must gain admission at a DLI school before they can qualify for a study permit. A Designated Learning Institution (DLI) is a school in Canada approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students.
To know if the school you can admission is a DLI you need to consult the designated learning institutions list (DLI) for schools at the post-secondary level.
