The Express Entry draw on June 25th,  2020, saw the lowest-ranked CRS score of 431 was selected. Candidates from this category received an invitation up to 3,508th person in the pool.

Between the month of March to June, we have seen many more invitations issued to the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category. This may be probably due to the pandemic as this category of candidates may possibly be in Canada. CEC  is for skilled workers in Canada (many international students who qualified for PGWP) with current Canadian work experience beginning after graduation and want to become permanent residents.  One part of this group of people in this category are those who entered Canada as international students and were eligible for Post Graduate Work Permit Status after completing their education. They have worked for a minimum of one year after schooling and applied to the program by entry the pool of candidates in the Express Entry system.

Another category are persons who were employed by Canadian Employers as foreign workers. This CEC-Canadian Experience Class is 1 of the 3 federal programs managed through the Express Entry online application system for skilled workers.

Candidates are scored using eligibility criteria for which are awarded points. These criteria are also known as six selection factors which are your age, education, skilled work experience, and proficiency in English or French, adaptability, and sometimes job offers.
