On May 1, 2020 a number of 3,311 candidates in the Express Entry pool were issued invitation to apply to the permanent residence program in Canada.The Comprehensive Ranking Score of the lowest-ranked Candidates invited was 452. Candidates from the Canadian Experience Class were eligible for this round of invitations.
The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents. One part of this group of people in this category are those who entered Canada as international students and were eligible for Post Graduate Work Permit Status after completing their education. They have worked for a minimum of one year after schooling and applied to the program by entry the pool of Candidates in the Express Entry system. Another category are persons who were employed by Canadian Employers as foreign workers. This CEC-Canadian Experience Class is 1 of the 3 federal programs managed through Express Entry online application system for skilled workers.
Candidates are scored using eligibility criteria for which are awarded points. These criteria are also known as six selection factors which are your age, education, skilled work experience and proficiency in English or French, adaptability and sometimes job offers..
