On January 22, a total number of 3,400 candidates in the Canada Express Entry system received invitation to Apply to the permanent Residence program. This is the second draw of the year. The Comprehensive Ranking Score of the lowest-ranked Candidates was 471 which is 2 points below the previous draws selected score.
Express Entry is an online system that is used to manage applications for permanent residence programs. There are three main programs under the Express Entry — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates are scored using eligibility criteria for which are awarded points. These criteria are also known as six selection factors which are your age, education, skilled work experience and proficiency in English or French, adaptability and sometimes job offers..
